Following basic needs would be provided at the camp sites.
01 throw Pillow, 01 Sheet, 01 sleeping bag, 01 traveling Mattress, 01 Torch,
01 Towel, 01 Cake of Soap.
Accommodation - 4 persons in a tent which is divided into two (2 Pax in a section)
At the hotels it will be on twin sharing basis. & Drinks at the hotels will have to be paid directly.
All meals included as per programme
IMPORTANT FACTORS
Hot meals will be prepared at the sites.
Picnic meals would comprise sandwiches, biscuits, cheese, fruits, eggs etc.
Toilets facilities will be rough with toilet tent & pit. Water for body wash would be provided if a clean source is not available.
Personal effects for very warm, cold, windy, rainy, weather conditions and strong walking shoes etc. should be carried by clients.
Strong insect/leach repellant, suntan lotion, Anti malaria pills, small vacuum flask, (For Hot & Cold Drinks) light pack, are strongly recommended.

DAY
01
Arrival, welcome & assistance at the airport. Leave for Kandy. En-route visit the ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE AT PINNAWELA.
This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their request for water during drought period. Lunch en route. visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for it’s large number and variety of plants, ornamental, decorative, useful & medicinal .more than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for it’s collection of orchids the largest in Asia Visit the city of Kandy. the most famous landmark of Kandy is its Lake, in the center of the city. Udawatte-kale is a nature reserve surrounded by city. The Kandy market is a great bazaar full of the sounds of exiting trade. Visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance. Dinner & Overnight at hotel Thilanka, Kandy.

DAY 02
After B’fast at the hotel leave to the camp site. Here clients will be welcomed and served with a refreshing drink. While sipping the drink they will be briefed on the camping rules and regulations. KNUCKLES RANGE, cluster of hills looming 1836 meters above Dumbara valley has it’s name because of it’s resemblance to a configuration of bunched to Knuckles, rich of beautiful landscapes contains rare fauna and flora. This range is world famous for it’s bio diversity and it’s the Sri Lankas only intermediate parthna Average temperature in the night 12C - 14C.
KNUCKLES BASE CAMP is located in Riverston (northern part of the Knuckles Range), at an altitude of 1400m above sea level. It is a magical place to revel in the sheer beauty of the sun rising behind the Manigala peak, gradually illuminating the vast valley below.
Afternoon of trekking.Your track would give you an once in a life time experience in exploring this scenic beauty, tranquility and peace, waiting to be discovered. Evening at leisure, star gazing and enjoying hearty B.B.Q. dinner. Overnight stay at Eco Team Camp.

DAY
03
Arrival at the gate entrance to the Horton Plains around 7.30am for trekking to various points of interest inside the National Park including Worlds End. The Horton plains, most certainly one of the worlds best nature reserves located in the highest plateau of Sri Lanka at an elevation of approx 7000 feet above sea level. Highlights of the plains are world’s end - the terrific escarpment, which drops vertically for about 1000 feet, bakers falls Chimmini pool etc. Rare species of fauna and flora are found here.Since vehicles are not allowed into the park, Horton Plains is a PARTICIPATORY CAMPING location, giving guests the opportunity of getting involved in the whole process of setting up the camp, and even assisting in the cooking! Although park regulations prohibit the lighting of campfires, we can still create a magical setting with lanterns, wonderful surrounding views of the Plains themselves and the diverse flora and fauna present (especially watch out for leopards!)
After trekking experience a typical Sri Lankan lunch at the camp. Evening trek to ‘Thotupalakanda’, Sri Lanka’s third highest mountain (2,359m).
Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

DAY 04
After Breakfast at the campsite, start trekking down hill approx 21 Km to Belihuloya. From Horton Plains exit, you will be driven 6 km by your own vehicle to start the trek. This trekking route which is named as "Satan’s Steps" due to it’s steep sharp bends and roughness has some of the best breathtaking views in the hill country. You would have descended approx 3500 ft. by the time of meeting your own vehicle at Kalupahana to be driven to Belihuloya. Having a dip at the bottom of the Sri Lanka’s highest waterfall Bambarakanda on your way would be a major highlight. Picnic Lunch will be provided on the way. Arriving at Belihuloya at around 7.00 PM Dinner and overnight stay at the River Garden Resort Camp site. |
Day5 & 6 - Singharaja
‘KUDAWA’ CAMP is located on a peninsula in the forest and surrounded by two rivers (deep enough for swimming) and just beyond a tea plantation (where you will see the traditional tea pluckers in action). Even without leaving the camp itself, so much can be seen so let the nature come to you! The peaceful camp is an ideal location for early morning Bird Watching before a fascinating nature trail through the forest. |
DAY 05
Guests will arrive at the Singharaja Gate Office in time for lunch. From there the clients can walk to the Kudawa camp (10 minute walk) or travel in their own vehicles for 200m which is very close to the camp. After the welcome drink is served, guests will be briefed on the campsite rules and what to expect in a rain forest. After lunch, leave for forest exploration. Evening at leisure and enjoy BBQ meal. |

Early morning bird watching trail. Return to campsite for Breakfast. Full day forest exploration with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight stay at campsite.

DAY 07
Guests will arrive at the Park entrance to be driven in 4WD jeeps to the campsite. At the campsite camping rules will be explained while the guests enjoy a welcome drink. After Lunch, evening safari. “Udawalawe” National Park is 30821 hectares dry zone game park is world famous for its elephants, seen in all their playfulness whole herds of them, adults and babies bathing and playing in the water or feeding. The park is surrounded by the scenic beauty of the mountain ranges that keep on winding endlessly on the Balangoda, Kalthota and Haputale escarpments.
The SAFARI CAMP is situated about 16 km inside the park next to the Walawe Ganga river (which feeds the nearby Udawalawe reservoir). Forget any ideas about cramped tents and sitting on the ground for meals this is camping in style! The camp is set up prior to your arrival, transporting in comfortable tents, a fully equipped kitchen, chairs and tables, hammocks, flush able toilets, showers and even cold beer for purchase .
On your return from the evening safari, you will be welcomed with a hearty barbecue meal in a magical setting the whole area is lit up with traditional flame torches and a roaring campfire.

DAY
08
After B’ fast and proceed to your beach resort in Unawatuna.
En route visit Galle the old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch is still fine preservation. Most of the administration of Galle still takes place from the fort .the view from the ramparts is superb Lunch
Evening relax at the beach hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Induruwa beach Hotel at Unawatuna - Unawatuna Beach Resort Superior rooms.
