The resort re-opened after refurbishment in March 2006 and is one of only two hotels on the beach at Kosgoda, where turtles come ashore regularly to lay their eggs. It is also especially renowned for its ayurvedic center and a range of activities ranging from bird watching within its lagoon, to wildlife trips, to visiting world heritage sites in the South of Sri Lanka. An assortment of indoor games and abundant reading material is available for the more ‘home-bound’ guest.

We do take your sleep seriously.  We offer a total of 43 villas that classify into two main types: The Singular villa and the Duplex villa.  The latter includes a bedroom upstairs and a living area downstairs.   Our most luxurious villa is No.150, which has its own Jacuzzi and completely glass-panelled upper floor that provides a breathtaking view.  What ever the villa maybe, they all share certain elements in common – fluffy pillows, cozy linen and the audible testimony to the mantra of the waves lapping the shore.
