In a bid to boost commercial activity in the Jaffna region, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Sri Lanka (FCCSL) and Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services come together to hold the first Jaffna International Fair (JIF) in the new atmosphere of peace and hope which now prevails in the north.
The event scheduled for April is to be held at the Jaffna Central College and will also see the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau assisting the organizers, for the conduct of this international event, held with the joint objectives of establishing new trade links and strengthening existing ties with the rest of Sri Lanka and to draw international business to the north. The Jaffna International Fair will cover an extensive range of products and services across a wide section of industries.
