Rekindling historical trade links and retracing the Silk Route, ‘The Jewel of Muscat’ a special gift from the Sultan of Oman to Singapore, will sail to its destination stopping in India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
A traditional sailing boat, ‘The Jewel of Muscat’ is built in Oman mostly by builders coming from Kerala India, a replica of a 9th century sailing boat (dhow) it will recreate the magic of early travellers .
