Day 01
AIRPORT, PINNAWELA, KANDY

Arrival, welcome & assistance at the airport Leave for Kandy En-route visit the Elephant orphanage at Pinnawela. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their request for water during drought period. Continuation to Kandy Arrive at hotel in Kandy, the center of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka Visit the city of Kandy. The most famous landmark of Kandy is its Lake, in the center of the city. Udawatte-kale is a nature reserve surrounded by city. The Kandy market is a great bazaar full of the sounds of exiting trade. Visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance. Overnight at hotel Suisse Kandy (Colonial Type Hotel.)

Day 02
KANDY, DAMBULLA, SIGIRIYA, MATALE, KANDY

After b'fast excursion to Sigiriya. En-route visits the rock cave temple of Dambulla. Some of the frescoes in these caves are over 2000 years old. There is also a colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha 14 meters long carved out of rock. Then precede to Sigiriya climb the rock of Sigiriya built by the patricide King Kashyapa in the 5th century A.D. Today it's a treasure trove of rare art. In a pocket of the giant rock are the famous frescoes of the '' heavenly maidens of Sigiriya'. Then return back to Kandy. En route visit a Spice Garden and a batik factory in Matale. Day 03
PERADENIYA, NUWARELIYA

After b'fast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for it's large number and variety of plants, ornamental, Decorative, Useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for it's collection of orchids the largest in Asia. P.M. leave for Nuwaraeliya the center of hill country, proceed via misty mountain routes and view waterfalls and landscape with tea plantation and other vegetation. Afternoon walk in the City of Nuwaraeliya, this is called "Little England" due to English architect of the building, names of buildings, shops, roads and cool climate reminds of being in a Town in England. Overnight at Heritage Hotel (Colonial Type Hotel)

After b'fast leave to the beach hotel En-route stop at Kithulgala Bride, the film Location of World War II movie "Bridge on the River Kwai", This River is now more popular among water sportsman for Rafting. (Rafting at Kithulgala Optional) continuation to beach hotel Dinner & installation at Coral Sands Hotel Hikkaduwa

Free relax at the beach hotel on Half Board Basis. (Bfast + Dinner included) Coral Sands Hotel Hikkaduwa.

Day 07
GALLE

After b'fast excursion to visit Galle Visit the Old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch is still fine preservation. Most of the administration of Galle still takes place from the fort. The view from the ramparts is superb. On your return Boat trip in Madu Gaga. Evening relax at the beach hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Coral Sands Hotel Hikkaduwa.

Day 08
BEACH AIRPORT

After b'fast transfer to the airport or Colombo You can relax at the hotel if time permits until 14h00 & we shall arrange free of charge late check out until 18h00 if the hotel is not full on the day of reservation.

There has to be a minimum of two paying clients per reservation for these special offer rates to be valid.
