Kaladiya is a contemporary interpretation

Located in the heart of Raja Rata (King's
Country) an area steeped in history and culture, surrounded
by shimmering tanks (lakes) and verdant paddy fields, a stones
throw away from the picturesque lake Kalawewa, adjoining the
Dambulu Oya river, in a quaint little village named Dambewatana
Nestled in 140 acres of mango orchard, Kaladiya
is 170 km northeast of the capital Colombo, 20km northwest
from Dambulla town and just 10km off the historic A9 highway.
The bungalow has three tastefully furnished bedrooms with
antique four- poster beds and air conditioning. The largest
bedroom with two queen size beds sleeps four persons and has
an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers one queen size
bed and an ensuite bathroom. The smaller bedroom also has
one queen size bed.
The ambience created in the living and dinning
room is simply magical, facing an open paddy field, across
which a continuous cool wind blows be it morning noon or night.
A long and spacious veranda furnished with "haansi puttu"
(easy chairs) provides ample space for both mind and body.
Our accomplished cook will serve you deliciously
prepared local cuisine of your choice. Or you can try out
our well-equipped pantry and spacious kitchen to prepare your
own favourite dish.
